Ben is the Firm’s managing principal and heads its issue advocacy and social venture practices. He serves as a senior communication strategist and a policy consultant for firm clients. He also works with foundations, non-profits and philanthropists to conceive of and launch social ventures.
Communications, policy and political strategy for not-for- profits is difficult because it requires them to expand their brand and identify new funding sources to support that growth. Ben works with his clients to identify new funding streams to work on issues that are core to those clients mission, and then establish funding for that work.
Ben launched Hudson TG’s social venture practice in 2010. Its first project is the launch a business that will expand utilization of public benefits programs nationwide. Funded by a national foundation, the project will launch a hundred million dollar company that will deliver billions in income support.
In 2010, Ben was honored by City Hall Newspaper as among the 40 under 40 Rising Stars in New York City politics, and he is a regular speaker on issue related to the Affordable Care Act of 2010.
Ben graduated from Tufts College and holds a law degree from Fordham Law School. He lives on the upper west side of Manhattan with his wife and daughter, and he is a proud member of Red Sox nation.
